They say it’s hard to make a great thing better. We say that’s not true.

Case in point: Cheap Monday. The savvy Swedes have managed to improve upon their budget denim with the launch of a secondary line, Kostym.

The collection includes tops, dresses, and outerwear in keeping with the original’s rock and roll aesthetic and bargain price tags (hurrah).

You’ll want to snap up the heavy knit cotton and wool blend dress. (The subtle zipper detailing at the shoulders makes it special without overdoing it.) Or go for the knee-length quilted twill coat with a drawstring waist (to keep you from looking like a storm trooper). Then again, the Cocon is the perfect black wool jacket you’ve been searching for forever.

And that’s no lie.
