Owner Stephanie Bushnell adds a touch of lemon and steers clear of preservatives, so they’re fresh as can be. And because she has an arsenal of cutters, she can make just about any shape, from footballs for sports gatherings to carriages for baby showers.

Big Star Taqueria and Bar Opens

You’ve heard the Big Star commotion. The boys (Paul Kahan, Donnie Madia, Terry Alexander, Eduard Seitan, Peter Garfield) are at it again, this time with a honky-tonk taqueria in the old Pontiac space opening Monday.

You’ve gotten a taste: pork-on-a-spit tacos and dulce de leche milk shakes, courtesy of chef Justin Large (Blackbird, The Publican, Avec).

And a buzz: 50 rare whiskeys; 40 small-batch tequilas; one vodka, gin, and rum; and dollar Schlitz, courtesy of Michael Rubel (Violet Hour).

The Crangi Family Project

Don’t know about yours, but our relatives are best appreciated at a safe distance.

But it’s a family affair at The Crangi Family Project, a new Meatpacking District jewelry boutique.

Philip Crangi (in all his lumberjack-chic glory) designed and built the jewel box of a shop. Black pressed-tin ceilings, dark velvet walls, and ribbon trim were done by hand. Custom shelving displays his namesake line — designed with sister and biz partner Courtney — and Giles & Brother costume collection. Dad’s an artist who will showcase sculptures. Sister-in-law Sheri manages the tiny space.

A smattering of vintage books and home items that inspire their work (Bauhaus, botanicals, African prints) are mixed in with bold, braided pieces; a drawer of delicate charm necklaces; and, if the mood strikes, special baubles made for runway shows.

You know, it’s all relative.

Doodle Bug

Lisa Marie Norton's Pet Doodles

When you doodle, it’s usually something shameful like your name with boy-of-moment’s last name. You know, just to see how it will look when you fetch the mail after you two are married with kids.

Lisa Marie Norton’s doodles have real-life inspiration.

The Michigan-based graphic designer creates noncutesy five-by-seven portraits of your dog, cat, bird, bunny, iguana, turtle, or snake. You supply her with photos; she takes pen to paper and then colors it in digitally. The depictions are modern, cartoony, and a little Japanesey.

At just $50, they’re a perfect sentimental gift for yourself or others.

Even if they’re not destined to be significant ones.

Balloga Fitness Class

You’d rather endure a public bikini wax than another press-seeking Speidi episode (unless they fall off a cliff — and die).

But Balloga is one fame-searching name merger we can live with.

Vert now offers the fusion ballet and yoga class. Mavericks dancer (and former Cowboys cheerleader) Lauren Castillo teaches the 45-minute session, which was designed by studio owner Trevor Marum to help improve posture, firm glutes, and tighten core muscles.

Castillo leads the semiprivate (seven peeps max) workout four days a week. Reservations are required, but no previous ballet or yoga experience is.

So you won’t feel like running for the hills.

Sleepless Night Art Event

The last time you pulled an all-nighter, you were high on white powder.

Sugared donuts, people.

Whip out the sugar again, this time for Sleepless Night, tomorrow’s all-night cultural extravaganza from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m.

The free event — a smorgasbord of dance, art, music, film, and more — takes place throughout Miami Beach with shuttles transporting audiences to more than 150 spectacles.

Highlights include Pablo Cano’s Musical Marionettes, a surreal vaudevillian puppet show; Bounce Theory, aerial dance and acrobatics by the Animate Objects Physical Theater; and Spectropia, New York-based artist Toni Dove’s mind-bending, multimedia show.

Expect a range of music (from Jacob Jeffries Band to La Traviata by the Miami Lyric Opera), midnight museum trips (Bass is open ’til 2 a.m.), and a Whole Foods breakfast served at 6 a.m.

Havana Sandwich Shop Reopens

You’ve traveled the food globe from sea to shining sea. Even countries where your passport is banned.

One bite that’s definitely worth the trip: Havana Restaurant. The hungrily missed Buford Highway sandwich shop has relocated to a new spot, and it’s opening Monday.

Co-founder Debbie Benedit revived the resto just up the road from its former haunt. She gave the space a fresh look: metallic silver and blue walls, tropical decor, and etched flooring.

Counter service fans can thrill to the fabled No. 17 combo plate (half Cuban sandwich, black bean soup, and yellow rice topped with signature red sauce) and traditional dishes like pollo granadina (a quarter bird stewed in tomato salsa).

Of course, flan and arroz con leche recipes remain in-house secrets.

That’s embargo to you.
